By public transport

The Ellipse building is located in the Brussels North District, just a stone's throw from the Brussels North Station. Under the station there are also bus stations of De Lijn and the STIB with a wide variety of buses, as well as the Pre Metro (STIB-trams of the North-South link).

By car

From the direction of Ghent (E40), Charleroi (E19) or Boom (A12):

Follow in the direction of Brussels to the Groot-Bijgaarden traffic interchange on the Grote Ring (intersection Grote Ring R0 and E40); see also the red line on the overview map below. At the Basilica in Koekelberg take the Leopold II tunnel towards the centre. After the Ijzer tunnel keep to your right and leave the tunnel. Above, you will come to the Kleine Ring. At the second intersection turn left into the Koning Albert II-laan in (see also the detailed map, red line). You are now in the Noordwijk [northern district].

From the direction of Antwerp (E19), Louvain (E40), Namur (E411) or Waterloo (Grote Ring):

Follow in the direction of Brussels to the Sint-Stevens-Woluwe traffic interchange on the Grote Ring (intersection Grote Ring R0 and E40); see also the green line on the overview map below. Follow the E40 in the direction of Brussels Centre. Drive into the tunnel under the Roodebeeklaan. Via the Kortenberglaan you will come to Schumanplein. Take Wetstraat to the Kleine Ring, where you turn right. Follow the Kleine Ring. After the Kruidtuintunnel (from here follow the detailed map) keep to your right so that you avoid the following tunnel. After two consecutive sets of traffic lights you come out left again - this time above ground - on to the Small Ring. At the second intersection (with roundabout), turn left into the Koning Albert II-laan (see also the detailed map, red line). You are now in the Noordwijk [northern district].
